Occupational therapy
Occupational therapy (from the Greek ergon, meaning work or activity) helps individuals maintain or regain their ability to act and work. From life in the womb to death, human beings face illnesses, psychological and/or physical traumas, grief, separations, and suffering. These experiences can deeply affect our ability to act on the world and impair our autonomy. By working on targeted activities (playful, sports-related, and artistic) and teaching certain mental and physical strategies, I help individuals regain and find an autonomy that is often key to building greater self-confidence.
